It was a night where I sat and thought clearly.
I live with gratitude for every blessing granted,
I had asked from the universe,
It answered without hesitation.
I experienced a cascade of emotions
I didn't need to understand,
Just feel and acknowledge over and over again.
There is a force of love within me
Intertwined with the universe by an invisible thread,
This god does not distinguish between good and evil,
Yet fulfills my desires of companionship and my fears of loneliness.
It is the dictate of the heart and the mind
Yet sometimes doubts, and it is the soul that saves me
From falling into the deepest despair.
And here I am.… and here I continue,
With every breath and step I take,
Surrounded by forces I do not understand,
I experience and accept, for this is who I’m,
With profound gratitude, for every blessing I get.
